First off you need to register in order to list books or purchase a book off the site. Doing this is very easy, you simply visit the Signup page. After receiving your confirmation e-mail (usually takes a few minutes) you are able to go and start listing your books online!
Click on the Sell an Item link, and you are brought to your own area where you will be able to see all the books you are selling! After you follow the easy steps for selling your item, you will see it listed on the campus bookshelf website by searching either the title, isbn number or author.
How does a user contact you?
There is a text box below each of the listings where a signed in user can send an e-mail to the seller of the book. The e-mail would look something like this:

bob3411@xxxx.edu was interested in your The Blue Planet: An Introduction to Earth System Science, 2nd Edition - Brian J. Skinner item which you had listed for sale. They wrote:
Hey there, I am pretty interested in your book.
-Bob” |
Then you could respond to them, or chose to ignore it. Either way, your E-mail is never shown to the user who was looking for your book. From there you are able to communicate with the person interested in your book and schedule a time to meet somewhere at school and exchange the book for your cash!!
